Briar Creek Borough is once again teaming up with the Columbia County Redevelopment Authority to process applicants for FREE SEASON POOL PASSES AND SWIM LESSONS for the Ber-Vaughn Pool.  This opportunity is exclusive for low-to-moderate income residents and families who reside within Briar Creek Borough.

Eligibility will be determined by telephone interviews.  Residents that believe they are eligible will need to call Betsy Rubio, Deputy Director of the Columbia County Housing and Redevelopment Authority.  Calls will be received on May 20^th and May 21^st, 2024, from 9 AM until to 3 PM. The number to call during the stated hours is (570) 394-4200.

The passes and lessons are funded through a Community Development Block Grant provided by the Columbia County Commissioners and discounts provided by the Ber-Vaughn Pool Association.

All Briar Creek Borough Residents are encouraged to apply.  Applicants will need to provide a self-certifying statement of income and proof of residency in Briar Creek Borough.  A state issued ID or a utility bill with your name and address will be sufficient for proof of residency.
